After scoring 19 goals in 22 games, Anthony Allison, has been nominated as one of the best forwards in the 2012 Sweden’s Division II Norrland League

Former Junior Lone Star FC’s forward, Anthony Allison, has been nominated as one of the best forwards in the 2012 Swedish Division II Norrland League after his goal-scoring exploits during the season.
Allison, who signed for Harnosands FF at the beginning of the 2012 season, was the second top scorer of the Swedish Division II Norrland League after scoring a whopping 19 goals in 22 matches to help his new club finished third in the league table.
Allison was part of Junior Lone Star FC’s U-23 squad which won the club’s first championship in 2008 with the EPSA U-23 State title and a subsequent USASA Region I U-23 title.
Allison, formerly known as Sargbah Tarpeh, was also a stand-out forward at Wilmington University where he was a NSCAA and NCAA Daktronics First Team All-America selection. He was also named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and NCAA Daktronics East Region Player of the Year. He was a First Team All-Region selection, and a four-time First Team All-CACC award winner.
After finishing his college soccer career with 56 goals and 26 assists in 72 games for the Wildcats, Allison signed his first professional contract with the Puerto Rico Islanders in 2010 before signing with IFK Sundsvall in 2011.
In his first and only season with IFK Sundsvall in Sweden’s Division III League, Anthony Allison scored 24 goals in 21 matches to win Sweden’s Division III Mellersta Norrland Golden Boot Award.
Allison returned to Sweden in late January 2012 after spending his off-season training with Junior Lone Star FC in Philadelphia, USA.
Upon his arrival in Sweden, Allison trained with GIF Sundsvall of Sweden’s Allsvenskan and Karlstad BK of Sweden’s Division I before agreeing a deal with Harnosands FF this year after impressing in a two-week trial.
Allison recently signed a contract extension with Harnosands FF that will keep him at the club for the 2013 season.
Allison was joined on the 2012 Swedish Division II Norrland League Nomination List by his fellow teammate and Liberia’s U-23 national player Sam Johnson who was listed as one of the best midfielders of the year after joining the club mid-season and scoring five goals and giving several assists.
