Philadelphia Lone Star FC Women are pleased to announce a technical partnership with the soccer training app Techne Futbol for the 2019 season.
Techne Futbol is a soccer training app and philosophy developed by professional and international soccer player, Yael Averbuch. The app provides players with individual technical sessions which require minimum space and equipment so players can be 100% self-sufficient. Players can also track their progress by recording scores and setting goals as motivation to improve all aspects of their game.
As part of the agreement, players from Philadelphia Lone Star FC Women’s team will have access to the Techne Futbol app during the entire 2019 calendar year and they can choose to participate in a special ambassador program wherein they will be given a personalized discount code to offer individuals and groups in their network.
The agreement will also see Techne Futbol branding at all our WPSL home games at the South Philadelphia Super Site, via pitch-side banner and on all of the team’s official interview backdrops.
Speaking after the signing of the partnership agreement, Philadelphia Lone Star FC president, Paul Konneh commented:
“We are absolutely excited to have Techne Futbol as a Technical Partner of our women’s team. We are thankful to Techne Futbol for giving our ladies access to the app for both technical training and mental training as they prepare for our inaugural season in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL). Techne Futbol will help our players improve their game tremendously during pre-season, in-season, and off-season.”
Charlie Flowe, Philadelphia Lone Star FC Women head coach, said:
“We would like to thank Yael Averbuch, Techne Futbol founder and CEO, for this opportunity for our players and club. We have so much admiration for the work she’s doing and we are honored to work with a company that truly cares about the development of female players. This partnership will empower our players to take control of their individual work-outs and allow our coaching staff to monitor their progress. Techne Futbol will play a huge role as a technical partner in our first season in the WPSL by helping to develop our players as they aim to reach the next level.”
Yael Averbuch, Founder and CEO, Techne Futbol, said:
“At Techne, we believe in supporting hard-working players who have aspirations to play at the highest level as well as the clubs who invest in their development! We’re excited to partner with the Philadelphia Lone Star WPSL team to give access to their players to train with Techne as they prepare for their next college season or to extend their careers in the professional game.”
