Fatoma Turay was appointed as head coach for Junior Lone Star FC First-Team on January 30, 2018.

Born in Koidu, Sierra Leone, Turay is one of Junior Lone Star FC’s most decorated players after making over 200 appearances for the Stars. The 32-year old legend has a career with the club spanning 16 years which included stints with the Academy, the Under-23s, and finally the First Team.

Turay also attended Wilmington University where he played for the Wildcats from 2006-09. During that period, he won several awards including being named on the 1st Team Daktronics All-Region, the 2nd Team NSCAA All-Region, All-American Honorable Mention, and All-CACC 1st Team. He finished his college career with with  77 appearances, 20 assists, and a CACC title.

Turay has been taking his coaching licenses and is due to earn the USSF D License this summer.

Junior Lone Star FC announced the addition of Charlie Flowe to the First Team staff as a goalkeeping coach on February 27, 2017.

Charlie Flowe is currently an assistant coach of Philadelphia University’s men’s soccer team where he primarily works with program’s five goalkeepers. He also is a pro trainer with West Coach Goalkeeping and Future Captain Sports.

Charlie Flowe has worked with several clubs the Philadelphia area as a head coach, trainer and goalkeeper coach for the past 16 years.

Flowe started his soccer career as a player at Ferguson High School in Newport News, Virginia, where he was named team captain his senior year. After high school, Flowe moved to Philadelphia to attend Drexel University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Project Operation Management.

Flowe is a licensed U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) coach and holds NSCAA Level 1 & 2 goalkeeper diplomas. He was a founding member of Bella Vista Futbol Club in Philadelphia in 2002, where he served as a board member, player and coach until 2013. In 2015, he was assistant coach at Penn State Brandywine with their men’s soccer team.

Flowe also has media experience where he was the lead play-by-play announcer for Sky Blue FC in the National Women’s Soccer League. He is the founder and host of the World Sports Show, which is a weekly soccer-based radio show out of Philadelphia. Flowe previously served as the play-by-play man for the Pennsylvania Roar of the Major Indoor Soccer League.

In February 2017, Flowe traveled to Turks and Caicos Islands for a college ID showcase. While there he ran sessions with the Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association national team goalkeepers.
