Edward Slueue was comfortably voted Junior Lone Star FC’s Player of the Month for September/October, during which the 24-year-old Liberia striker scored two goals and had two assists in six games.
The striker had two assists in the 2-2 league match against Upper Darby FC on October 12th before scoring in two successive matches away to West Chester United Reserves in the EPSA State Amateur Cup First Round on October 23rd and away to VE Majors in the EPSA State Open Cup First Round on October 30th.
Hundreds of fans had their say in our polls on www.juniorlonestarfc.org and Facebook. Online voting took one-quarter share of polling, coaches/officials voting took one-quarter share of polling, while players voting took one-half of polling.
Afer tabulating the percentage of votes earned from the online poll as well as from coaches/officials and players, Edward Slueue earned 46 per cent of the votes to finish ahead of Yaya Fane (37 per cent) and Kouassi N’Guessan (17 per cent).
